“First department”: FSB is persuading family members of those leaving the country to return them to Russia

Human rights activists think that “someone desperately wants promotion for searching “spies””.

“Idel.Realii” referring to the “First department” human rights protection project that FSB summon the relatives of those who left Russia and persuade them to talk those leaving Russia over.

Since the war started, many requests were made on consultation from people against whom FSB wanted to open criminal cases. Many people have left Russia since that time. However, now the project notes that their family members are summoned to talk to FSB and persuade their family members to return to Russia.

Human right activists consider that “most likely someone wants to get the promotion for searching for spies.”

Based on the insider information of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine, drafting into military service on a limited basis is underway in Russia, surprisingly skipping over Moscow.

Kreml is proactively promoting drafting into military service on a contract basis. They expect to replenish the personnel losses of the units involved in the hostilities in Ukraine. Several new units are to be created. Those who already served in the army are prioritized.

The agitprop has been launched to encourage people to become volunteer fighters. The traditional Russian narratives on the collective West and non-existent Ukraine are being employed. They pledge to provide them with financial benefits and reliefs.

The Russian military command has established conscription quotas: 200 volunteer fighters from far East and Siberia. Volunteer fighters have not been drafted into service at all in Moscow.

Moscow has clear vision on who their own people are and indigenous people don’t fall in this category. They are being taken advantage of to patch the holes in fulfilling the plans of Putin’s incompetent military leaders.
