RIA Novosti continues to produce stories about how Ukrainian punitive forces are once again killing their own civilians, but the Russian reader is already full of these stories from 2014 and is no longer that interested, so the authorities have moved on to heavy artillery – in an almost literal sense.

In the occupied Kherson, Russians hand out leaflets in which they present their propaganda version of the war causes and urge local residents to spread the word in favour of the Russian Federation. The document has been obtained by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Jokes about the magnificent “equipment” of the Russian soldiers resurface from time to time. The latest discovery are rotten bulletproof vests that were given to Russian soldiers before they were dispatched to Ukraine. It seems that after finding out about field rations with an expiry date in 2015 there can be nothing to be surprised about. However, Russia always finds a way to prove the opposite. 

It is not without reason that Russian propaganda has made Kadyrov the main media character of the Great War against Ukraine. There  was benefit even before the attack – an appeal to Zelensky, promises to quickly resolve the Ukrainian issue. In February, he was going to hold a parade with a lezginka in Kyiv, taken in three days. Now he has focused on Mariupol, which he declares for the 26th time “is almost taken”.

On the 13^th of April, as a result of being hit by two Ukrainian anti-ship missiles “Neptune”, the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, the cruiser “Moscow” went to the bottom of the Black Sea.

According to the author of the “Crimea.Realii” publication, a decadent mood is increasing across Crimean telegram channels. More and more pro-Russian Crimeans see defeatist views in the Kremlin. Often in their comments the word “betrayal” appears, used in relation to the Russian elite.

Following the wide international publicity over the genocide against people of Ukraine in the city of Bucha, Kyiv oblast, Russian troops began using mibile crematoria in Ukraine.

On Wednesday, April 13, Polish President Andrzej Duda and Estonian Presidents Alar Karis, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda and Latvian President Egils Levits visited Borodyanka in the Kyiv region, which has been hit by the Russian invasion.

Former Putin adviser Vladislav Surkov is under a house arrest. Investigations into the Donbass theft cases since 2014 are underway. This was announced by the former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, who cited his sources. Ponomarev was a confidant of Surkov and worked at the Skolkovo Foundation.

We, representatives of the indigenous nations of Russia, call on our fellow citizens – servicemen and those liable for military service who belong to indigenous nations, and other nations of the Russian Federation – urging them not to take part in the shameful war that is called a “special military operation” in Ukraine.

Soviet and Russian journalist, TV and radio presenter, director Svetlana Sorokina expressed her opinion on the results of a sociological survey, according to which 74% of Russians approve the “Russian military operation to protect Donbas”, which is actually a war unleashed by the Russian Federation, and a genocide against Ukrainians.
