There is a fairly widespread opinion that the Kremlin and the Russian Federation as a whole as a state  cares only about the so-called Russians and no one else. But is this concern for Russians so great, and why do Russians often consider themselves the most oppressed part of the population of the empire they adore so much?

The well-known Ukrainian blogger Ali Tatar-zade told about the scheme, which was rolled out in the russian Empire 100-150 years ago. It is according to such a scheme that Putin’s mobilization is taking place.

Zakat, the Charitable Foundation of the Spiritual Muslim Board of Tatarstan  collected 1.8 million rubles during the action to support mobilized Tatarstan residents. First of all, they plan to use the collected money to buy warm clothes, first aid kits, and halal products. Fundraising continues. Boxes for donations are set up in rural shops and they explain to fellow villagers the importance of supporting  soldiers fellow believers whom Putin sent for a slaughter in a foreign country. However, earlier the Spiritual Muslim Board of Tatarstan stated that Ukraine is in the hands of “neo-Nazis”, so there is no need to be surprised here. As well as how freely pro-Kremlin muftis interpret Islam.

At least three medical institutions of the republic announced purchases for the supply of firewood for heating. This is reported by Proofy edition.

With the big war against Ukraine, the Kremlin only spurred the processes of both de-communisation and decolonisation (demoscovitisation, de-russification, de-russianisation – whatever you call it) of this country.

In the Soviet Union, the popular science magazine Vokrug Sveta was published, in which there was a heading Сlorful World, which ridiculed the “grimaces of capitalism.” Articles about stupid bourgeois laws were often published there. Most Western military analysts, as well as representatives of British, American, Estonian and Ukrainian intelligence, are now openly expressing the same fears that Arkadiy Babchenko, a journalist, blogger and still a citizen of the Russian Federation, announced for everyone a long time ago.

They lie in the fact that after losing the current war, the empire will not fall apart, but will only become more united around the dictator and even more zombified. The Kremlin will be preparing for revenge within 10-15-30 years and preparing for a much larger war, which will be not only against Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries, but also against all Europe and the NATO bloc.

Sometimes, when reading articles about language discussions in Ukraine, I think with envy: we should have their problems! After all, everything is going up with the functioning of their native language, while with us it is on the contrary. There, for example, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of Russian ethnic origin argue about the obligatory transition to the Ukrainian language in everyday communication. Some say, “We are Russian-speaking Ukrainian patriots! No one dares to force us to speak Ukrainian, in the trenches under shelling we answer Ukrainian words in Russian, and everything is clear to everyone!” Some of their “compatriots” answer, “But we are fighting, among other things, for the state Ukrainian language!”

When watching a video with hundreds and thousands of mobilized people, who thoughtlessly go where they are being led, involuntary associations arise with watching old footage of the chronicles of the Second World War, where the Nazis are leading large columns of Soviet prisoners. They can not go: they are not exhausted yet, since they were recently taken prisoners, and there are hundreds of times more of them than the escorts, and the escorts will definitely not cope with all of them. Even if some part would die, the majority would defeat the escorts pretty quickly. But they don’t even think about it. They’re just fatefully walking. Someone hopes to get lost on the road and run away, but there are only a few of them. Most of them walk where they are led. All this Orwellianism evokes a sense of hopelessness. The meat understands that it is meat, and understands that it is being led to the slaughter, but it continues going. Because everyone goes.
