Erzya delegation will not take part in VIII World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples. This was reported by Syreś Boläeń, Inyazor (Chief elder) of Erzya people.

The government of Estonia gave the go-ahead to two large-scale events planned for summer, amid falling coronavirus rates.

Syreś Boläeń, Inyazor and leader of Erzya delegation to VIII World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples appealed to Eva-Maria Liimets, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia.

Syres’ Boliayen’, Inyazor (chief elder) of Erzya people, addressed a formal letter to Consultative Committee of Finno-Ugric Peoples, that is the coordinating body of the World Congress of Finno-Ugric Peoples.

As reported by Ramazan Alpaut (Idel.Realii), the song emerged as the result of collaboration between Erzya activists and Ukrainian rock band.

Moscow isn’t going to abandon the idea of “final solution” for national issues. The idea about liquidation of national republics is pronounced more and more often. Alexandr Tikshaikin, Erzya writer and journalist, a member of Atyan’ Ezem(Elders’ Council) of Erzya people, passed away aged 51 on 28 July 2020 in Saransk.

June 30, 2020. Presentation of new Erzya magazine, designed and released by emigrants from Russia, took place in Kyiv. The event was streamed online, all interested commenters had the opportunity to communicate with editorial board members who worked hard to create the magazine.
