The corresponding petition was presented on the world’s largest petition platform Change.org.

Its author recalls that on September 21, 2022, Russian president Vladimir Putin declared “partial mobilization” in connection with the “special military operation” in Ukraine and signed Decree No. 647. The mobilization campaign is particularly hard for regions inhabited by Russia’s ethnic minorities. According to the available data, the percentage of conscripts of the total population in these regions  exceeds Russia’s average.

This post on the “Free Idel-Ural” forum became the starting point for describing my considerations.

“When ruzzians try to prove that they are against Putin, it looks something like this. Germany, the 1940s, Hitler is at war with the whole world. A random German living in Germany: I’m against Hitler, but Jews certainly suck; Hitler, of course, is wrong, but the lands we have occupied are our lands and those who wish to secede must be hanged; I am against Hitler, but Gestapo is doing everything right; I am against Hitler, but Germans must rule the world.”

I would like to discuss this allegorical analogy. Let’s start with Germany.

Ukrainian law inforcement structures have announced Ramsan Kadyrov and his retinue a suspicion of unleashing an aggressive war. “Putin’s footman” reacted to that according to his mental abilities, “I would have seized Kyiv long ago, and Zelenskyy and all like him would be interrogated in a cellar … So thank Putin for not letting us seize Kyiv and question you in full measure”.

This way Kadyrov unintentionally has admitted: in occupied by thr Kremlin Chechnya, the practice of tortures in a cellar does not only exist but is also so common that even those in power forget that it is not a usual thing. At least in the civilised world.

Jenifer Ghandy, a politilogist, has calculated that in 1970s about 75% of all regimes on the planet were personal, military or party dictatorships. Some dictators managed to leave quietly, without rebellions and revolutions – like Francisco Franco in Spain, some were killed by rebels – like Rafael Trukhilio in Dominicana. Still, all of them had a lot in common: censorship, the cult of person, repressions against opposition.

The date is approaching that leaves not a single Kazan Tatar indifferent – October 2, 1552. Of course, my Tatar compatriot may not think about it or forget about it for many years and trumpet that he/she doesn’t give a damn about it. But suggest him/her to talk about it and try to push ahead with Russian chauvinist narratives in assessing those distant, almost half a millennium ago, events, and you will see that no Tatar will remain indifferent. Thank Allah, most of the Kazan Tatars still have reasons for their exclusive assessment of the capture of Kazan and the conquest of the Kazan Khanate by Tsar Ivan the Terrible of Moscow. They may remain silent just to be polite, or make a joke, but in their hearts they will stick to what they have. It means that there is still hope, it means that not everything is lost!

The regular UNO session is to take place in September and the representatives of all the countries in the world will attend it. During this session the President of Ukraine should raise the issue of decolonising the suppressed peoples of RF. It is not about a formal declarative statement but about one of the main reports, essentially prepared and consistent. It is very important as the above mentioned document will be distributed as an official document among all the delegations. This was claimed by Stepan Khmara, a Ukrainian politician, the defender of the independence of Ukraine in the 20th century, a dissident, a long-term prisoner of soviet concentration camps, the Hero of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian army, the Freedom of russia movement under the white-blue-white flag, which used to be the flag of the now-defunct Novgorod Republic, became very widespread.

Do you remember, in Chuvashia, the day before the Republic Day, at the interregional pedagogical forum “Pyrlyhre-way”, teachers asked the head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolayev to increase the number of teaching the nstive language hours in the republic’s schools? Here is the result: teaching the Cuvash language in village schools of the republic is being made two hours shorter. 

Today, early in the morning, the activist Ilmira Rakhmatullina’s younger sister Amrita was beaten by a group of unknown people.

Erzyans announced preparations for the national congress.  Due to increased repression at home, delegates will gather in Estonia.  According to the notice published on the website of the national movement, the congress will take place at the end of September, but the final place of its holding is kept secret.

Being aware of the new challenges that our people faced, namely:

the involvement of Moscow in another war of conquest,

the creation by the Russian authorities of clones of the national representative bodies of the Erzya people,

So, we continue to work on the results of the VIII Congress of the WTC, at which the delegates unanimously (except for Fauzia Bayramova) supported the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.

The Finno-Ugric cause and Muscovite aggression against Ukraine

History does not know and does not tolerate the subjunctive mood, which is why, like veritata magistra vitae, it forces descendants to correct the mistakes of their ancestors. Not infrequently, and sometimes, even often, the process of correction is a rather bloody lesson for an entire generation that has just risen to its feet in the big world. The Finno-Ugric world, when viewed as a separate closed linguistic and cultural super-community (in a broader sense, a kind of civilization), is one of those that, moreover, is still little explored in Ukraine.

Immutability and wearisome nature of the Vatnik-imperial argument is worth mentioning. The classic example of the demagogy “but you have blacks being lynched / and you killed the Indians” is not at all obsolete in their methodology, it never thought to fall out of favor. Yes, it’s still being spread. What can you do, there are no other true ideas. So Russian propaganda has to act according to Dr. Goebbels’ tried-and-true template: “A lie repeated a thousand times is perceived as truth”.
