Crusaders of Russia

Whenever you visit news sites lately, you are sure to come across these messages… Just open any Telegram channel: Russian communities, Russian squads….

Columns of young men walk briskly, heading… but where are they heading to? The simple answer is “to kill r…gheads”. Of course, under most of the videos there is a synchronization: here the migrants got out of hand, here they pestered girls, here they got drunk and had a fight, here they were rude or simply spoke impolitely. In short, they behaved in a way that does not corresponded to Russian customs and morals.

No one will argue that it is possible to meet offenders among Asian and Caucasian migrant workers, of course, but hardly more often than among the Russians themselves. The share of crimes committed by “those who came here” is very insignificant – more in the capitals and large regional centers, where national diasporas have already formed, and very little noticeable – in cities and district-type settlements.

But it turns out that the old disease, which was so mercilessly branded in the USSR, is flourishing in today’s Russia. This disease is called “colonialism”, and its manifestations in public life are known as “segregation on national grounds”. Despite what we hear from Russian TV, what has been diligently and persistently hammered into children’s heads in schools, despite the songs of Shaman, sounding from every TV set, this phenomenon is spreading and gaining strength. And it is already obvious to the naked eye that Russia is far from the imperial propaganda picture of mutual tolerance and mutual respect in interethnic and interfaith relations, and is getting closer to the practice of South African Bantustans. In essence, everything is the same as under apartheid in South Africa in the 70s and 80s. Black people and people of color could come to work in the cities with a special permit, they could serve white residents, work in enterprises, but they were prohibited from spending the night in the city or permanently residing there. By evening, get out of the white part of the metropolis and go to Bantustan, to the “black” suburbs, you, a potential bandit/offender, have nothing to do in the settlement built for lords and masters! Special passes are provided for critically necessary professions, various nannies, gardeners, lackeys. If you do not have a pass, and you dare to wander the streets of the white city in the evening, any policeman will teach you with a truncheon so that you will immediately understand your delusions. And it does not matter that this is the land of your people and that you yourself toiled in the construction of this city.

What do we see now, looking around? Is Russia gradually sliding towards such a model? Perhaps its citizens of non-Slavic origin will suffer the destiny of migrants in post-war Britain, when, with the wave of former colonial subjects flooded into the Metropolis, skinheads with bald heads in bomber jackets and martens began to appear on the streets of English cities? Migrants had it rough back then… But the English somehow managed to absorb people originating from their former colonies. The culture of the British Empire turned out to be attractive and tempting for black people and people of color, and today they can all live like the English, but at the same time practice their religion and not forget the language and customs of their homeland. England was able to provide the people originating from the colonies with equal rights and democracy.

And in Russia – an unconditional movement in the opposite direction and a demonstrative rejection of migrants! Moreover, even internal migrants, i.e. the same citizens of the Russian Federation as their persecutors from the “Russian communities”. After all, the Caucasus, the Far East, and the North are full-fledged Russian regions, Russian citizens live there! But, leaving the borders of their region, they hear the humiliating “go to your Raghe…dstan”, ” they have come in large numbers”, etc.

In general, a strange ethnopolitical landscape is emerging: Russians put forward force as the main argument for coexistence in the country.

“Our mother Russia is the head to the whole world!” – as A. Chekhov wrote with irony. But such a model of relations does not work in ХХІ century. The effect is the opposite: tension grows on the streets of Russian cities, followed by rejection, and then hatred, manifested in scandals, clashes, showdowns, and then in “crocuses” and wars. Violence begets violence in return, therefore marches of “Russian communities”, demonstrative religious processions in Muslim areas of the new “crusaders” of the Russian Orthodox Church, the installation of worship crosses as flags of the state winner will not lead to anything positive.

It would seem that if you cannot tolerate foreigners next to you, if you cannot find a way to live peacefully, fairly – let them go, i.e. do not invite, do not call, cope yourself, without the help of the hated “r…gheads” … But no! You are such and such, you all owe us, “If you do not submit, you will perish like grass”! But at the same time, “We will not cope without you, come, we will give you work, and you must love us for this, appreciate and respect us.” Sorry, dear “white gentlemen”, it does not work like that!

Firstly, love for money is a very unreliable thing! And secondly, there are laws, written by you yourselves, where you write about equality. So be kind enough to observe, and not to frighten migrants with “Russian communities”! In response to the actions of “skinheads” ethnic mafia organizations usually arise, and alienation increases to massacres and riots.

This should not be forgotten.

It is simple: if you cannot attract someone with friendship and equal conditions, if you cannot hold them with a positive example, then let them go and do not lure them! Give your neighbor the opportunity to decide his own destiny, to build his own state – on the principles of good neighborliness, but separately! And do not dream that someone will beg you for your favor. Times are different …
