Kazan without a crescent
A candy factory in Gatchina, in the territory of occupied Ingria, has produced candies on which the crosses on the Annunciation Cathedral are kept, but the crescents from the Kul Sharif mosque and the Syuyumbike tower are removed. Ethnographer Lenar Miftakhov noticed something was wrong, which he reported on his VKontakte page.
The appearance of the tower itself has also changed, although both it and the mosque are a cultural heritage of Tatarstan. These candies are sold by the Post of Russia, including in Tatarstan.
A few months ago, there were also situations when crosses on temples and churches began to disappear from banknotes and various public posters throughout the Russian Federation.
