Brechalov, gauleiter of Udmurtia, “made a very difficult decision – to cancel the Victory Parade this year”
The fascists encroached on something sacred—the memory of our grandfathers. They canceled the victory frenzy. In this way, soon they will start beating World War II veterans and their monuments will be torn down.
Get up, huge country, for the last battle with the dark fascist force, let’s take back Victory Day. Away with the fascist Brechalov, who decided to shame the memory of the winners!
If we are to be serious, what kind of Victory Day are we even talking about? Besides the fact that Idel-Ural republics have been under the occupation of the foreign state and are still under it, moreover the war ended not on May 9, but on September 2, 1945 for those mobilized from our republics. And this was not some other war, but part of the same World War II.
For example, the ancestor of one of the editors of Free Idel-Ural was transferred to China after the battles for Latvia – to struggle with the Japanese for Mukden.
So why on earth was “May 9” celebrated if our people died for another six months in the war, and the Third Reich officially surrendered on May 8 and not on May 9?
Just because it was not profitable for the Soviet fascists to remember the vile violation of the non-aggression pact with Japan by the Soviets and it was not so convenient to build great-power propaganda during that part of the war? Moreover, what did they struggle for? For the continuation of their own occupation. It was necessary to struggle both against the Soviets and against Hitler’s soldiers. Then it would be our Victory Day. Of our victory.
