To highlight the desired contrast in the history of Udmurtia
In Udmurtia, they want to show in history lessons a future movie about Galina Koneva, one of the “Buranovo grandmothers” who has made it to the Eurovision Song Contest, which is so hated by Russians. When Galina was 4 years old (at the height of World War II), her mother took her to work in the fields, having no one to leave her with. On one of these days, little Galina cut her finger with a sickle, and it remained crooked for the rest of her life. Perhaps it is a good idea. The movie does not exist yet, and we cannot criticize it right away, since we have not seen it.
Part of the script is known. This piece of the movie seems to present part of the history of Udmurtia of those years. This is how many people actually lived who were not directly affected by the war. But Udmurt schoolchildren will not be told that together with this girl, child convicts from all over Udmurtia were engaged in building the Izhkar-Balezino railway, where they were kept under escort, poorly fed, not treated in any way, and not even given winter clothes. Many children died there.
If they want to show schoolchildren movies about the history of Udmurtia, then the Italmas is the Flower of Peace movie about the Buranovo grandmother should not be in the first place in terms of viewing importance, as they are going to make it.
