They celebrate death and destruction: why Muslims have nothing to do at the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet occupation forces from Afghanistan

In 1989, a resolution of the Congress of People’s Deputies of the USSR condemned the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Putin canceled this resolution and ordered that the invasion be considered a righteous deed.

Today, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet occupation forces from the territory of Afghanistan, the Kremlin governors in the republics organized a holiday. They celebrate death and destruction – about 2 million killed Afghans and up to 4 million refugees. It was ordered to celebrate the “holiday” even in republics with a predominantly Muslim population, which is doubly disgusting – in addition to killing people in the foreign country for no reason, they also killed fellow Muslims. Both Khabirov and Minnikhanov have already “congratulated” the population.

The imperials celebrate by placing glasses of vodka on the monuments, which is the evidence that Muslims have nothing to do at this holiday.

In Idel-Ural, the largest scale of celebrations was organized in Tatarstan, while for the Tatars this war was fratricidal in every sense – 3 million Afghan Tatars were on the other side of the front, defending Afghanistan from the occupiers.

The Soviet Union was brought to its knees by losses of 15,000-30,000 soldiers, a large number of dissidents and international sanctions against Soviet oil exports. With losses of insurgents 10 times greater and complete devastation due to the bombing of the entire country, it was not they who surrendered — the empire surrendered. The insurgents won. Tomorrow or today, the losses of the modern Russian Federation will cross the mark of 400,000 (currently about 399,000 killed and seriously wounded who will not be able to return to the war).
