You will be beaten up because you “refused” to be a Russian and decided to become a “non-Russian”, even though you have never been Russian in the first place. The imperials don’t care, as in their system of reference, failure to actively resist being labeled as Russian and fight off this name with everything that you have, equates to you being a Russian.
