Putin is reported on actual casualties in Ukraine: 12,949 dead

FSB-affiliated telegram channel “General SVR” revealed that during the morning report on Saturday, 19.03.2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about irrecoverable live-force losses of the Russian Armed Forces. They amounted to 12,949 men.

This excludes casualty figures of Russian PMCs involved in the military operations on the territory of Ukraine. As of Friday, March 18, its death toll is 4,451. The next final data on losses of PMC fighters is due on Friday, March, 25. It will be updated once a week thereafter. Total live-force losses of the Russian Armed Forces and Russian PMCs account for over 17.000 fatalities.
