Khabirov writes that only a handful remained of the battalion named after Shaimuratov
He writes with pride that they were kept near Bakhmut for 5 months until little was left of them. This is how “we do not leave our people”.
By the way, has anyone seen these medals in Bashkort or similar medals in other republics in other languages? They call us to the army, in national languages as well. But these languages are not present on the medals and orders. In a way, this is good (fewer people will be lured), but still it shows their attitude towards the languages of the indigenous peoples.
Did even one Bashkort, dying somewhere in the field after a battle with Muscovite troops, think that some of his descendants would be sold for this trinket, where “faithful slave” is almost written in a foreign language?
