In Chuvashia, the solemn summing up of this year will be a great success: there will be no condemnation of raids on mosques

The Muslim Spiritual Directorate of the Chuvash Republic has planned to hold a solemn summing up of the results of this year. The leadership of the republic and Muslim officialdom from all over the Volga region were invited to the festive event, which will be held on December 19 in Shygyrdan village (Crocus cafe).

The joyful news was overshadowed by the initiative of one of the participants, who, without the consent of Mansur Khaibullov, the Chairman of the Muslim Spiritual Directorate of the Chuvash Republic, decided right at the celebration to initiate the adoption of the statement condemning the raids on mosques in Moscow and Moscow region. The initiator of the appeal decided to gain the support of individual event participants in advance by discussing his idea with them. This was his mistake.

Despite the reserved wording, officers from the Federal Security Service Directorate for the Chuvash Republic have already held a conversation with the author of the statement. The man “realized his mistake” and repented of his lack of love for the president and law enforcement agencies. An ideal event is expected on December 19: victorious reports and notes of gratitude to the party and government.
