Ichkeria Recognizes the Sovereignty of Tatarstan and Ready for Joint Struggle

The Government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in exile recognizes the results of the referendum held on 21 March 1992, after which the sovereignty of Tatarstan was proclaimed. Head of the government of Ichkeria Ahmed Zakayev informed about this in his letter to the government of exiled Tatarstan and added that this cooperation will become “an example for all peoples oppressed by Russia.”
