This is an orphanage in the city of Ulatăr, where orphans and children whose parents have been deprived of parental rights are raised (source). All the children will be redistributed to other orphanages.

Such measures were unheard of even during World War II, as Udmurtia was never bombed. The Nazis couldn’t reach Udmurtia, but the Russian occupiers have worked hard to change that, boasting their “We can repeat” slogan.

Halyna, the mother of a deceased 33-year-old volunteer-contract soldier Pavlo from Dostavalov Battalion, filed a complaint to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, against lawyer Roman Petrov. Petrov failed to prevent her son from being sent back to the war after his leave.
